Happily ever after

From early on we've been told that someday a prince is gonna come to save us from all danger and make us live happily ever after...
Our childhood memories are filled with poor little women who needed to be saved by strong, brave fellas who made their lives OH SO MUCH BETTER!

Think about it: what happened to the Sleeping Beauty? She pricked her finger and went into coma, no one could help her, because God forbid the little fairies die under a flyswatter! Cinderella, after being stupid enough to lose her shoe, got locked into a closet and tried to get out with the help of her friends the rats. And don't even get me started on Snowhite! Eating an apple from a strange old lady can only mean trouble, and pretending to be saved by the 7 seven dwarfs? Even more trouble!
Just let me remind you the names of the 7 dwarfs:
- Dopey(too much crack, maybe?)
- Happy(Marihuana?)
- Grumpy (who's gonna ask HIM for a favour?)
- Doc (one of the dwarfs was a doctor????Too bad he didn't know how to cure snowhite's food poisoning!)
- Bashful (Never mind!)
- Sneezy (with all the dust and flowers he could've totally saved her!)
- Sleepy (no comments)

What happens at the end of all those tales? The handsome fella arrives with a white horse and with just one kiss he saves the world and makes the ladies wake up! Well, with a kiss or a shoe, but who am I to judge Cinderella?

Prince saves princess (or housemaid) and they live happily ever after.

THE END

Yeah, but they don't tell us what happened after THE END: our princess gets pregnant, washes the dishes and sweeps the floor while her prince is out there screwing his secretary! Hey, Snowy, where's your prince? Oh, he's on a business trip...
She tries to have a nice conversation with her neighbour while she thinks: man, I was such an idiot lying in the glass box and wating for him, I could have asked for some crack from Dopey, that would've woken me up! That way I could've get it over and done with by myself, instead of waiting for that selfish little man!

So that's the thing about fairytales, they never tell us the whole story, and life doesn't happen that way; because what if we never find Prince Charming? Will we lay in the glass box forever?
