James Lipton quote
"Hollywood movies like happy endings, but of course life doesn't fade out after the final frame. At its best, life has happy beginnings, with all the hope that that implies"

Nicole Kidman on Stanley Kubrick
"The time I spent with Stanley Kubrick changed the way I view films, the way I view film making; it gave me a belief in the purity of film making, in the art form of making film. And that however long it takes, whatever you have to go through...you're making a film, and it's extraordinarily wonderful;and a lot of times now I think people view films in a very 'business' way: we have a product, we gotta get it out for summer, we gotta make the film,it's gotta be this, it's gotta be that... and film making isn't that, it's about getting lost in that world and it's exquisit when it happens.
A lot of the times now you can really question that, and particulary that you can be corrupted (I think even as a director).
Stanley Kubrick was someone who dedicated his life to making films, and he believed in that art form in such a pure way...and he lived films, he loved films! And a lot of times he would say: that's pretentious, or you know, there's so many more important things in the world...and yes there is, but the great storytellers of our past(and also now)are so important to our future, and I think Stanley gave me a belief in that again. He was one of the great storytellers of all time and he used film as his media to do that...and it was beautiful".

Nothing
I don't have anything today!I mean, I went to tv class this morning, had lunch with my friend Natalia (she's in Madrid) and with Alicia. And I'm going to acting class in an hour.
So, nothing new really. That's why I'm gonna leave Ellen's monologue about nothing:
I don't have anything to talk about today. I'm not kiddin around, there's no place to go besides that sentence, and I thought: I have nothing to say, what are they gonna think if I have nothing to say?but then I thought well, you know when you run into a friend on the street and you go:hey!what's up? and they go: nothing. You don't walk away going: y'Know I just ran into Kathy and she had nothing to say!So hopefully it's not a big deal. You just kind of go: OK, yeah, good, I'm good....
I'm thinking of what's going on so:
I had Oreo's for breakfast with white coffee, why do they call it white coffee???it isn't white! it's not black either, cause then it wouldn't be white coffee, it would be black cofee...but then again, black coffee isn't black, it's dark brown, and white coffee is light brown. So next time I'm ordering coffe I'll be saying: a light brown coffee please! Oh that reminded me of the time my friend Sandra went to Paris, and she didn't know how to say white coffee(excuse me: light brown coffee), and she just said it in Spanish: Cafe con leche. And the waiter would say: Oh, cafe olé (cafe au lait), and she would say: yeah, OLÉ. (I'm from Spain)...
So, yeah.... that's all I have: nothing, really. So, keep on keeping on and see you tomorrow!

Shoes, shoes, shoes
What is it, with most women, when it comes to shoes? what happens to us?
I went to buy a belt today, and guess what, I came home with a pair of beautiful black shoes from Blanco. I went in looking for a belt, when suddenly a great light guided me to my sin... I gently took them into my open hands and tried them on;(OOOOOOHHHHH!!!!)beautiful! absolutely beautiful. But at the same time I was thinking: No, I can't buy them, I came in here looking for a belt! So I went to the "Belt side" of the shop (with my shoes, of course, I'm not buying them, but neither am I taking the risk of losing them!), but no belt was right for me; but I knew my shoes were. I looked at them, and I immediately knew we were made for each other...So how could I lie to them saying I didn't like them, turn away, and abandon them??? That's not my style, I rather take care of my beloved ones! So, of course, I bought them. And as I got out of the shop I felt guilty, but as I opened the bag and took a glimpse at them I realized they were absolutely worth it!

Gym classes
I went to the gym today.
I didn't take any water with me, I forgot it, but I also thought it wouldn't be necessary. I thought: well, I'm not gonna need it, and besides, I'm going home afterwards so I can drink a sink full of water if I want to!(here in Madrid you can drink right from the faucet/tap).
Ok, so here's the thing:
The class was full of people; all of them (us) were sweating, exhaling and inhaling (trying desperately to breath!) and trying to get some space(kicking or hitting each other). Ok, till here everything was kinnda normal. So, suddenly I feel the need to drink, and I start looking for my bottle of water (in the middle of all the jumping, kicking and turning), which I later realize I didn't bring. Then I start to think:(jump!)Why am I this stupid, why didn't I bring a bottle of water? (kick!)Then, I remember that there's a vending machine outside the class, and I think: it'll take 2 min to get the water(turn!). But then again, I realize that I didn't bring any money! So I think:ok, that ain't gonna work!(jump and kick!)...so I continue doing my excercises and thinking about water, which made me even more thirsty!and dizzy! (because of the lack of water)
Eventually I realize we're sretching and that the class is about to end. We all start to applaude, and I run home to drink not a sink of water but a bathtub full of water; and if it's possible with some vodka in it!In my defense: I had a stressful hour!
So that's what's happened to me today.
I'm going to acting class in an hour(I forgot I had to learn my scene!)and then we're having champagne at home! (it's Fernando's bithday, in case you forgot!)
So, keep on keeping on and have a nice afternoon!

My thought...and I do have one!
"My thought and I do have one!", so if I'm thinking what I'm thinking, there must be some people out there thinking the same thing as I am thinking...
I'm waiting for my friend Elisa at home, I just called her and she said she's on her way.
We're going to buy a present for my roommate/friend (that doesn't sound good) Friend/roommate (yeah, better!), cause tomorrow is his birthday. We're buying him make up. Yeah, we're buying HIM make up! He's been stealing my bronzing make up for some time now, so we thought: what the hell, let's buy him one!!!
I've had a sandwich with Elisa, and now I'm goin to bed. I have to learn a text for tomorrow's acting class("Fool for love"); and of course, I left it for today!Don't leave for tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
Keep on, keeping on!
